paper + pinafore :: a new look

i am pleased to announce my new look for the paper + pinafore website & etsy shop! over the past {almost} year and a half, i've been getting a feel for what etsy brides are looking for- and increasingly, the modern style is what they want- sophistocated, non-traditional + simple. and my new designs reflect that trend::

travelling bag

i custom made this bag for a client as a special request- i have a similar zipper pouch in the shop & she loved the fabrics but wanted them made into a purse/diaper bag. so i used my "rain drop" bag design and had just enough of the 'french map' fabric to create this little cutie.

i got the map fabric second-hand and the green fabric from a local fabric store. the wooden button goes perfectly, don't you think?

the strap is adjustable & there are two matching interior pockets. it's a little small for a diaper bag, but it could definitely be used as such for short trips or as a regular purse. it was fun to make!
