okay, new apartment. dx and i spent this past week packing, cleaning, and moving and we're finally here! isn't our new building grand?
it's on the 'national register of historic places', which means it's old. like, 1925 old. but so beautiful.
and there's a perplexing palm tree out front. we live in oregon- there are no palm trees here. except for this one, i guess. that might explain why it looks kind of, well, dead. but i kind of like it.
there's a darling private backyard space with lots of seating and a cool-looking birdbath.
old benches fit perfectly into the landscaping. i think i'd rather look at it than sit on it though.
and the flowers are starting to bloom! so lovely.
the interior is charming as well, but since we're still unpacking i'll have to wait to show those photos. but i'm very happy with the new place so far, hooray!
